Draft for legal review. These pages were prepared to make our policies transparent and easy to find. They have not yet been approved by a South African attorney or compliance professional, and the business does not claim to be legally compliant merely because these pages exist. Wording, company details and regulatory positioning must be reviewed and approved before launch.

This is a working draft. The final PAIA Manual, including the confirmed responsible-party and Information Officer details and the prescribed request form, must be completed by the business and reviewed by its legal adviser before launch. • Send it to the Information Officer at the contact details above.
  • Provide enough detail to identify the record, your identity and the right you are seeking to exercise.
  • The prescribed fees payable are those set out in the PAIA regulations. The applicable fee schedule will be confirmed here: [TO BE CONFIRMED BY THE BUSINESS].
  • We must respond within 30 days, which may be extended in the circumstances allowed by PAIA.

6. Grounds for refusal and remedies

A request may be refused on the grounds set out in Chapter 4 of PAIA, for example to protect another person's privacy or confidential commercial information. If a request is refused you may complain to the Information Regulator or apply to court.

7. Requests about your own personal information

If you simply want a copy of the information we hold about you, the quickest route is the Your Data Rights page.
